I am pleased to provide a letter for reference for Bryant Baxter / Ashley Construction.  Bryant was the general contractor of the home in which I now reside with my family.  However, I first became acquainted with Bryant after purchasing the home from the original owners (who never occupied the home) in August 2008. 
In the process of searching for a home to purchase, we toured several homes offered for sale.  We were sadly disappointed with the quality of almost all of these homes.  The home we now occupy was a conspicuous exception.  Its quality was immediately apparent to us.  It was my first choice, my wife’s first choice, and the first choice of our two sons (though each of us initially withheld an expression of preference so as not to bias the others).
Bryant is unusually professional in his manner. Ashley Construction begins and completes projects precisely on schedule.  They come whenever they makes a commitment to come.  On those rare occasions when they are slightly delayed, they call to alert us to the delay.  ACI bills for their services in a fair, straightforward, transparent, and business-like manner.  There are no “oh, by the ways” added to his final billings; the amount is precisely the amount of their bid.
Bryant is an unusually intelligent individual – sufficiently so that virtually any career would be open to him.  As a general contractor and builder, I believe he is doing what he loves to do.
When Bryant has done projects for us, he has done much of the work himself, maintaining an intimate, personal awareness of the projects.

My wife and I recently demolished our family room, and were in need of a contractor to put it all back together.  My brother recommended to us Ashley Construction.  They came over and looked at our project, asked questions, and gained an understanding of exactly what my wife wanted.  They presented us with a written bid a short time later.  We have had other projects done in the past, but Ashley Construction is the first contractor that we have been truly happy with.  When they said they would be here, they was here.  And when they said the job would take six weeks, it took less than six weeks.  When my wife made changes in the plan, Ashley was happy to accommodate her and make sure she was happy. When we had some problems with a subcontractor that we hired on our own, Ashley stepped in and helped solve our problems.  When the bid said that it would be “X” amount of dollars, that was the final price.  We will definitely use them again, and recommend them to anyone without question.
